Parking, lane changes, garageability. Those hips can get in the way. I mean everyone gets Used to what they are driving but a straight SRW is more comfortable to get accustomed to.
Mine leaked through the passenger grab handle when I first got it, they tore it all apart and couldn't replicate the leak. Drain line was pinched from assembly and they unknowingly fixed it while trying to diagnose the problem. Not a drop since.
Yep we've got a link here with all the oe Filters for our trucks on the top of the maintenance page. I order from that company for fuel Filters as well, and occasionally throw in a oil filter but I typically run aftermarket for those. But still you found the best place to get them! But $200 for...
Right, because they are both 5w at temp. But when it's cold, I don't recall the exact temperature they use, but one is 30 weight and the other 40. So cold thickness/viscosity is significantly different. But hot oil it still comes out as 5w
I actually looked into getting a 6 door stretch out of my ecodiesel. But $45,000+ is a big number to choke down. Albeit a $9,000 set of Longhorn seats doesn't help it much ;)
It's been a long time since ram has done a 1500 Megacab. It would be nice. You sure won't see a standard box behind one though. It'd definitely be limited to to a mini 5'7 box
I ordered the brass plug from Geno's but the $60 cap wrench is a waste of money. I use a $6.00 full size oil filter strap wrench to break mine loose when necessary.
I follow oil change intervals personally at 7-8k; while waiting for the oil to drain I drain the fuel filter housing. The...
So you have the lower headlights? From this image
I suppose if you don't want any wiring at all and you just need a small light upgrade you need to order "Osram Night Breaker" bulbs to replace your factory bulbs. They are the highest lumen output halogen headlamp on the market. About 75 a pair...
Hell yeah! Think we'll get some old school Mercedes hydraulic suspension revamped from the S and CL?? That could make a seriously impressive truck system. It'd beat air bags for comfort and adaptability.
Weird I got no outage message. But you don't tie into the taillight harness. There is a single wire under the truck just for a camper shell brake light. It just kinda sticks out of the trailer brake and rear wire harness. That way there is no additional voltage draw from the taillight affecting...
Well an edge is between 300 and 430 depending which model. And I already have torque pro on my phone to monitor all that stuff when and if I ever feel it necessary. And to clear codes. I wanted something I could plug in, correct the Tire size, and be done. 144$ through some shopping around was...
I just have 2 2x4's with eye bolts that I stand in the bed and lift the shell with my back and slip them under one at a time. Then rig it up to the matching ceiling mounts with ratchet straps and I'm good to go. I have the air suspension so it's especially easy for me, I put in offroad 2 and...
Yeah but sometimes the local guys just can't compete with the price of online retailers. This was a fair example. Would've been 322 per Tire local plus disposal and tax so 1400 and I'd still be short the 200 speed calibrator
