Same thing happened to me. I just got a jug from the dealership and filled back up. About 20k later and she's still level.

I don't know. I guess if I was in the market to upgrade an older dodge, maybe $600 tops with fresh OEM tires. Might sound cheap but I am cheap.

29-33mpg is not the norm. It takes perfect conditions to meet that. 23 for mostly city sounds about right. Lots of variables in the mpg game.

Hi hotrod Bob and welcome. I'll be traveling through your great state next Thursday en route to fish out of Orange Beach. So if you see a black 4door with ecodesl Ohio plates, gimme a wave!

When the garage starts getting below 50F at night, I plug it into the mechanical timer set for about 3 hrs before I leave for work. No problems.

Haven't looked into them but let's keep this thread current with any new info on them. I've had good luck with the Nitto Terra Grapplers so I'll definitely check these out. Bonus is made in USA... the T/Gs I had were from Japan.

I'd be concerned that they aren't up to date with things, yes. Wouldn't be concerned with running the original spec'd oil.
Manual states 10k mile oil change intervals. And all trucks should have 100k mile powertrain warranty.

Hahaha. I just mean that if they had to reflash it and the mileage was drastically lower then before, I'd bail.

I pull a 18.5' Tracker bass boat and get 23mpg +/- . It's light tho. Pulled a 21' Stratos last tournament and mpg was a shade over 20. These things are built for us bassers! Enjoy it.

Polecat's situation is truly unfortunate. But it does not represent the majority of EcoD ownership. More in line with <1% so make sure that is factored into your decision as well.

You can go with Bilstein 5100 adjustable height front shocks to raise the front end level with the rear. This will give you better clearance, retain factory(ish) ride, and not hurt your MPGs all for <$300 with an alignment and keeping OEM tires. With drop suspension lifts and 35" tires you're...
