I think that's the way to go. And besides, a base model is still plenty comfortable with everything you actually need. I don't use half the crap in/on my 'fancy' BigHorn, particularly the infotainment side of it. Good luck & I hope you get into a new one.
I respectfully disagree. Dmax'd Colorado/Canyon is just another option. Another tool for the job. Should get better fuel economy, and actual tow ratings/capacities aren't that far off from our weak sprung'd Rams. Price wise? Yep, they're expensive. They all are. Fact is though, I could've taken...
Little tip that makes filter on/off easier. Use a 12" extension with a universal joint and the 1-1/8" socket to go down underneath the brake booster. See pics:
Dual flap neck and green plastic cap, I see it as a non-issue on the contamination side of it. As far as theft deterrent, a locking lid would be my choice. Most thieves would see that and just move on. An open lid and locking cap just lets them get that much closer....
GM's auto dim rear view mirror is top notch. Flawless in design & operation, I never even noticed it. Was rudely reminded of a non-dimmer with this truck. Small gripe I know, but is what it is.
