It's up to you. I'm very comfortable with the basic warranty. I had the option of rolling additional protection into my monthly payments but did not think it necessary.

While I can't attest for the fitment of the rambox, I can, without a doubt, recommend Truxedo brand based on quality. I have one on my 5'7" regular box and its top notch.

It's not the lift as much as it's the accompanying 35" tall tires. I've been reading where it's knocking 4-6mpgs off the hwy mileage.
