I would say just top it off...or even ask the dealer if they would drain and refill if it's a concern. Personally, a few months wouldn't bother me.- BoostN

FCA work to settle criminal investigation (1-8-19) update
It's not uncommon for a dealer to "update" (flash) the truck to the latest software. In my previous vehicles it was pretty common. It really depends on the dealer. You would need the proper tools to be able to tell if it was flashed or not.- BoostN
