Idk how an intercooler would get clogged as it moves air through it. Some oil can accumulate in it but I’ve never heard of that.

Is it just not displaying it, or it won’t start/hard starting?

FWIW: if you keep getting the preheat wait to start due to a glow plug issue, if you unplug the glow plug module, it’ll do away with the flashing on the evic so you can at least drive without having ADHD. you still have check engine light and no glow plugs, but it stops that annoying flash.

Do you have any codes? Did the tone ring take out the sensor and if so was that replaced?

Good afternoon all, I know I’m beating a dead horse but I’m iso a tuner that can write out the glowplugs and startup procedure with them. My current tuner appears to have gone out of business so they are no longer an option. Anyone aware of this being done before?

First I’ve heard of that issue, sounds like when they designed the suspension they didn’t do a good job. When I added my leveling kit to my 2014 ram, I had to add a drop mount for my bump stops, but I don’t think I’ve ever come close to bottoming out on them.

Sounds like the turbo coolant line failed. It’s located under the intake manifold

I broke mine off and dealt with it once it was out of the way lol

Did it throw any codes? Idk how they condemned the turbo for being “dirty” when it’s nearly impossible to inspect and a bore scope would most likely not get a good angle to see inside of it. Most likely boost leak from one of the intercooler hoses

That’s a tough call. Mines at 190k and I’ve replaced one at 120k and now i have another giving the flashing light. You shouldn’t be causing any damage. Mine too does it randomly due to a glowplug. A majority of the time this occurs, it’s either a glowplug or the glowplug module. The glowplugs are a PITA to change but not impossible. Use caution as they’re prone to breaking in the head and have to be extracted.

You can replace just manifold and gaskets but if you choose not to tune and delete, it’ll clog up again

I have checked in ALFAOBD and haven’t seen that option but it could be I suppose depending on your rig!

Pipes and kits are the same for the most part. It’s the tunes themselves that differ and that would be on your wallet and personal preference!

If you’re decent with hand tools, all the parts bolt off / bolt on. Tuners can email back and forth the required files once you buy their handheld devices.

I believe there’s a current sensor on the battery that could be bad, there’s also a fuse if I recall that can impact it. Orrrr it could be a bad ground /connection somewhere

I’d say 2k by the time you tune, block off egr and get the exhaust redone. Obliviously what brands and sources you choose can get it done at different costs and instead of blocking off egr you can unplug once tuned and save 100ish bucks but it’s all up to you

I would check for boost leaks
