How to clean system with cloudy DEF fluid. The engine light is on but no other symptoms. The 2020 Ram 1500 3.0 Ecodiesel has 80,000 miles. Anyone else had this problem?

By completely changing the DEF fluid, likely just crystalized DEF Injector.

To clean the injector: Get yourself a cheap steam cleaner off Amazon and spray it. Comes right off. Oh, and do the same to the hole it's mounted in.

DEF does have a service life limit of about 6mos, give or take depending on how hot in your area, from when it was poured in the tank. Probably best to drain, flush, and start over.

That's for legal and manufacture purpose only. I have had acceptable and good d e f. even after 10 years of storage at room temperature.

TC-Diesel: Your talking storage inside an environmentally controlled building. I'm talking once it's poured in the truck, being subject to summer heat, winter cold, freezing and thawing.
