Debadged mine the day after I took delivery.
Maybe wheels and tires. Right now it has Bilstein 5100's set at 2.1", BakFlip tonneau cover and a BedRug in the bed. That's a clean looking truck! Any future mods for your rig?
First impression is great. I did quite a bit of research before pulling the trigger on it.Love the bed rug, how do you like it?
May I ask why "I Am The Mountain"? What's the significance?Super simple to install. They come with 3M foam tape already on the back of the emblems. You have to loosen the top of the front grill. There are some tabs on the stock emblem that need to be depressed to take it off.
I used a little sand paper to level out the plastic underneath the stock emblem, cleaned off the surface and stuck the new emblem on.
The tailgate is indented in the shape of the badge so line it up and stick on!
I am very happy with them. Subtle and unique.
I bought my '15 used about 10 days ago. It too has been de-badged, with the exception of the two Ram heads (grill and tailgate) and the two ecoDiesel badges on the front fenders. I didn't even know what edition it was until I started it up and saw "Lone Star" edition on the video display. I think I would have preferred the previous person leave the Lone Star badge on the tailgate. Otherwise, missing the words "Ram & 1500" in large letters on the doors is fine.Just a helpful hint, use fishing line then go back over it with a eraser wheel. It should come right off!
