My warning that my filter was “80% full, drive highway speeds to resolve” came on, so I did that but it didn’t help and now says “100% full, see dealer
I did the same. Now is at 100% and need to take it to the dealer. My OBD don't have the option to force reagent and I try to put it in neutral and force a reagent but unsuccessful. My cuestión is: how much longer can I drive it?My warning that my filter was “80% full, drive highway speeds to resolve” came on, so I did that but it didn’t help and now says “100% full, see dealer
Your DPF is "full", meaning that it is restricting exhaust flow and needs a regen to burn of all the collected soot. Yes, the dealer can trigger a regen, but will likely say you also need a bunch of parts for a bunch of money. You can do it yourself but will need a unit to connect to OBD port and connect to the ECU. Search this site for "how
I know Snap-on has a ECU unit. Is that the only one that can do the force regent or is there a different device to do the regent? Or is there another way to clear the filter without having a computer to run the regent?Your DPF is "full", meaning that it is restricting exhaust flow and needs a regen to burn of all the collected soot.
