Truck died.
Diagnosed as a bad lift pump. Has less than 2psi.
Couldn't get one, so I installed an air dog aftermarket system, works great.
Upon checking the HPFP I noticed the quality sensor had a metal piece or two on it. So I replaced the pump to avoid any issues.
I also removed the fuel rails and inspected them. One at a time. Found no metal filings.
I removed the fuel filter and found none either.
I now have a crank no start issue. Was told by a local Mopar guy that I could just crank and go.
I've replaced high pressure pumps for Deere and we had to bleed everything.
Ideas?
Fuel pressure regulator?
