SCR Failures on EcoDiesel.

Looking around on Facebook, a lot are having the problem of backorders. This scares me incase I have the same issue!

Who has been affected so far, what are the symptoms.

If the SCR fails, this is serious and costly. SCR failure can cause the truck to not be drivable. You may be fortunate in that the SCR should be covered under warranty. Not in all cases, but if you keep an eye on the regeneration phases of the truck you may be able to head off serious issues such as this. One indication is getting out your truck and hearing a metal clicking or tapping sound coming form under the truck. This may be a sign of an unfinished or in the process of regeneration cycle. During these cycles the SCR / DPF are very hot (greater than 1000 degrees) and if not properly cleaned by the process or cooled down after the process could lead to failures in the system,
