I ordered a 2018 ecodiesel Outdoorsman and should get it soon, the truck comes stock with the 17" chrome rims and" E " rated tire . I upgraded the rims to 20" to get the black rims but I just realized
that this option downgraded the tires to "P" tire, they didnt't tell me this when I ordered the truck, the result is tires which are rated about 500 lbs less carrying weight per tire.
I will be towing a 24" travel trailer with a loaded weight of about 5000 LBS. plus passengers, driving from ontario to Alaska this summer.
In your opinion should I be concerned and should I have the 17" E rated tires or are the "P" 20" adequate or will they be much less solid on the road and less durable? Thanks
