    Why Diesel?...in 1/2 ton power Diesel is not needed, the new Hurricane motor will pencil better than any 1/2 ton Diesel...My 2019 5.7L limited gets great MPG...18,21 HWY, 14,16 city..@ $2.75 PG..Diesel $4.40 PG.

    NO, its just more complex and will cost More $$$ in future repairs, It likely will extend those failures maybe 25/75K miles more but it will still happen, Plus the engine is out of Production... So Parts will be less available and cost more.. No need to produce more components when the engine...

    3K Yes.... 10K NO, Buy a Cummins or another D-Max, Are you aware that Ram is discontinuing its 1/2 DSL?... I don't like Ram's 68RFE in the 2500s, The Aisin is ONLY available in the 3500 Ram.... I know of CC 3500+ with 500K miles on Aisin/Cummins combo with only normal repairs and Maintenance.

    Early on 2014-16 2000-to 2200 Eco's per month production rate, So Most Powerplant makers would stop production at 1 Per 1000, Fiat just continue production at the likely hood of owner's failures at rate 200 times more likely than the most MFG, heck some makers are 1 per 2000 Rotating mass failure.
