an update. After a month or so of no code, it came back on and picked up right where it left off. When it came on it said 61 miles to 5mph max. This weekend i drained the def fluid in the case that it was the problem, and put in that new blue def platinum stuff...
O.... Do support proper daily use that includes Towing and HWY use, its the DD and short trips that NO blueTech power plant will survive without major repairs before 150K miles or less.
Biodiesel enlighten all readers members That Platinum DEF is any other ratio other 32.5 Urea and 67.5 Deionized Water, The ISO Standard is connected to dispensing filling only the product is all the same. QC is the same cert on ALL API DEF.
I want Comparisons factual Data and lab Spec's...
I've test many CP-1, 3,,4, 4.2, 6 Shafts there all 2+ - 2. Of 62 RW.. most of the time 62 dead on. RAM Cummins obviously had no trust in the CP4.2..Ram is replacing all 2019-20 6.7 Cummins with CP3 and all 2021+have CP3
Not on the VM 3.0 that I'm aware of...I've had many 300k+ and a few 500K mile CP4s on my bench...all that made 500K miles had auxiliary filtration...it's the only way to protect any pump from multi uses of poor fuel or the even 1 time use of contaminated fuel.
Biodiesel , IMO its impossible for any 3.0VM COC DD plenum at 40K miles+ to pass any honorable Test..... My 2015 Was replace at 43K miles even with 10K foam cleanings.... of course, it passes the Vacuum Test, After I insisted that visual inspection be performed it was approved to be replace.
All Ram 1500s have in tank lift pump, what alarms me is you said gas pedal. Did you put gas in Your tank? Yes ,the FCA will buzz for about 1 second.... if it can turn over you have enough voltage to start.
I'm guessing because of the legality That Mileage is NONE COC. The mileage cheerleader's leave that pertinent info out. So its 10,000+ failed AND likely 10,000s Major repaired VM 3.0s to a handful HWY 300K miles NONE COC 3.0s..... MY sig says it ALL, So its your choice, Choose wisely in DD use...
Data High levels of Wear metals, Iron , Alum, cooper. here's a good report form My 2015 . Do NOT condemn any power plant on one or two bad reports, it MUST be a Trend, of increasing wear levels.
Why Not Thomas16 know what health and condition of your rotating mass. Most fleet owners do OAs from new and in many cases it adds to the value when selling or trading.
No..... It's just that in a few very rare cases the 2n and even 3rd Motors have failed, OAs will tell if it's a hero or zero Rotating Mass...its inherited risk all VM3.0 owner incur. I do find it alarming that most VM3.0 ignore OAs as being necessary, In the Decades of using OAs as the...
Thomas16, The loss of time is something that ALL VM3.0 have to prepared for, Also when you get that New Motor Buy a Six Pack of OAs sample kits and the fumoto Valve. Of course, this is contingent on You doing your own service, Please Keep in Mind, there are VM3.0 owners on 3rd and 4th Motor.
I would Dia-electric the entire Male Connector and the face of the female side plus the grommet and Double ZIp-Tie, secure it to any face so it cannot wiggle... If that don't work, take the deal
Add fumoto F106 We have used The drain Port for years, when running, You just need use brake cleaner to clean the Valve otherwise yes, .I will post a sample of one I took W/O cleaning Sure enough My sodium was High ..We live in MN so it was no surprise to Me.
