Some have been successful with Ram covering 1/2 the cost.... IMO Its not worth the risk in ownership, 3.0VM are going on 6 years of the same problems, its Hero or Zero Motor...
Ash accumulates in the webbing of DPF, It can flake off and be dispose of VIA exhaust, its a good practice to place your DSL engine in Stationary De-soot once every 6 months or 10K miles.
When it fills the Honey comb Webbing your screwed, it takes Qualified expert with chemicals that are NOT...
OAs............. x2 tremper126, You have 2016 use 90% Distilled water and 10% DEF. My 2015 ED was on this diet of H20 for it 4.5 years of ownership. Lube changes every 6/8k Miles , No dart driving.
Depends on Year, each Year the battery detection software gets More complex. So I really don't know.
What I do know is never add to any circuit, Start adding after market products like head lamp or tail lamp bulbs plus add lighting, New after market Radio and its only time before controls on...
I'm With biodiesel, move on. Yes any engine can be scan for changes outside of OEM Programming. Its unlikely that any Dealer Tech would volunteer to investigate on his Dime.
The Fuel Rail sensor Is $120.00 and 1 Hr Book Time.... I have them in stock.. $800.00 is crazy... the sensor is easily checked VIA WITECH.
Spider I suggest you move on .... its the curse of the VM3.0... (What's a CPM?)
1st get rid of the sound foam, Maybe that will help in locating the leak, The lift and feed lines travel on driver side TOP of engine to distribution/transition block along driver side rail down the back to tank.
Spider its extremely rare to find any person capable of the work arounds on the 3.0VM, generally what your describing is electronics. Still no answer on Injector pressure module , or what the heck they replaced.
You will not always trigger codes in HPCR systems in No start/Run conditions. ( Only when running )
The VM 3.0 is extremely difficult to diagnose and repair, The Power plant is manufactured in Cento Italy.... They are Hero's when running Zero's when NOT. My7 Do Yourself GOOD send it away...
What's the running Rail Pressure? if the CP4 cannot maintain 2200PSI it will die, CP4 or in tank pump. if its CP4 complete direct injection system will need to be replaced from in tank pump to Injectors, lift pressure must be above 50PSI or the COV will close to the combustion side of Pump...
Hmmmm, Never heard of Injector pressure module on any VM 3.0. Unless the hard part(s) of the PCM are the problem just flash the PCM, if the flash does not load the PCM corrupted, other than that most PCMs are extreme robust and its extreme rare for them to just fail.
DO NOT paste and copy This for any other site USE, If I see it at 1500diesel.XXX I will deleted it Myself or have the Boostn or Temp delete it
