    Canadian tuning companies are not under the EPA jurisdiction. GDE is based in Michigan and thus has been shut down for US consumers by the EPA.

    With the GDE tune there is no need to touch any hardware on the vehicle. However, it is only legal in 194 countries, not the US at this time. We will have CARB/EPA certified tunes in 3-4 months.

    That is correct and normal. You need a certain oxygen content in the exhaust during a regen to effectively burn the soot. EGR will mess that up something fierce.

    That cooler does not have a CARB EO, so it is not legal. Just like an engine tune we used to sell. It is also a shell and tube design, not like the plate style in the factory egr cooler. This means less heat transfer and a hotter intake, most likely would not pass the required emission tests...

    Banks does not do tuning, his is a plug in box to the fuel pressure and a couple other sensors. It is strictly for more performance and they have the electronics set up so the power added occurs only at heavy throttle. In this manner, it is not doing anything in normal driving.
