Has anyone else had problems setting up their cts 3? Mine seems to have configured for a gas engine as most of the parameters I want aren't there. I wish they would create the ability for the owner to change the setup without calling support.

I don't think I'm eligible for the AEM stuff, my truck is 2017, I thought it ran 2014 to 16, it definitely has a throttle lag even after I installed the AFE version of the pedal booster, it helped A LOT, it's still there, & it comes on like gangbusters when she finally starts fueling.

There is no regen regen message unless it happens to get to 80%, I use my truck as a daily driver & it will regen sometimes as often as every 40 miles or so, when I see the scangauge get to 70% i know a regen will occur very soon, if it starts, I drive the 12 miles or so to allow it to complete...
I find it hard to believe that you haven't had a regen in 2 years. Mine does a regen about every 50-75 miles IF it's in town driving, and once itt starts a regen I drive until it's done,, about 12 miles or so. generally without an aftermarket gauge that will let you know, my truck hit 80 % one...
ALPHAOBD, AND AN ELM ADAPTER FOR THE OBD PORT should be able force a regen. Alsomget something that will show when a regen is happening & let it finish if you can.
No I don't Gale Banks has been around & tuning for a long time, I've read that his tunes for other diesels , like the DURAMAX, POWERSTROKE & RAM CUMMINS are VERY conservative, I don't know if the derringer shuts down the EGR or not. Theres a lot more people here that probably have a LOT more...
