That is weird given its an electric system...I haven't heard of those issues the only thing I have is a small clunk every once in a while in the front end when turning at low speeds. Not sure what to attribute it to.

I would think it depends on the failure.....if you are able to run an oem filter with the setup you are doing everything filtration wise you should be and unless they can pinpoint it to on oil temp issue or something like that I don't see them getting much else to stick.
The warranty laws have changed a great deal in terms of aftermarket parts the manufacture would have to prove.to some extent that the aftermarket cooler caused said failure in order for them not to cover it.

You should be able to get them even with the small display keep digging also you may check YouTube for a video to show you how to find what your looking for
What trim is your truck? You should have the Arrows on your steering wheel to scroll up and down between different displays such as full mileage etc. On your dash screen. Then you can scroll left and right in some sections to give you more options
