You can add a factory trailer brake controller. Mine did not come with one but it bolted on and after having a dealership add the sales code is like it left the factory equipped.

I ran the gde tune for 20k so I asked nothing of them, but did sell the ecm for $800 shipped. Switched to Ppei because I prefer there tune it has smother throttle maps and kept my stock cruise control.

There is different types of regen. Normally it starts when the dpf reaches 65% full and it well just do it with out telling you. But if it gets interrupted and reaches 80% it well display an message on the evic.

The actuator gate you referred to is actually the cooler bypass its allows exhaust gasses to bypass the cooler under certain conditions. It has nothing to due with flow.

There are some who dont like there tuning style im one of them. But they are a great company who are extremely knowledgeable. It’s just different tuning styles and beliefs. Unfortunately oem tuning on any modern diesel is lacking in some way due to epa and idiots sueing them for stupid bullshit.
