If your seeing coolant temps higher than oil temps you have a big issue. Its probably a bad egr cooler or a stuck closed thermostat. Either way it needs addressed now.
Switching grills on mine ( laramie too wire mesh I cant imagine a grill could flow better) lowered my oil temps by 8 degrees. But im running the D&J hd oil cooler kit.
Quit caring about looks! Now lets figure out what tire size works best for you. 285 is wider than a 275 and 75 is taller then a 70. But the stock size is great. Go with an LT rated tire(bfg k02). Im a big fan of 285/70R17 and have had great success with it. The reason why, is its readily...
Dont trust what Oreillys or Autozone says. Also your truck shouldn't need that much def in three months. How many miles did you put on the truck and why did you add def?
Its hit and miss on the warranty thing I had my oil cooler fail and they denied the claim. So I replaced it my self and bought an aftermarket kit from d&j diesel when it came out, problem solved. But they still fixed my window and an issue with my rambox under warranty. Its called a limited...
The tow tune has less power its a 20hp tune which is like 5hp and around 40ft lbs of torque less than gde. Your not giving up much, id rather have power I can use allday long. But the gde tune is good none the less.
I went with gde but wish I would have used ppei instead. Its a decent difference a little less turbo lag. The main thing I wanted was to remove the emissions stuff and the exhaust braking feature.
If they put in 5w-40 the service writer thought you had a cummins. Ive had this conversation myself when buying a fuel filter. The hemi takes 5w-20 so no worrys there. This whole thing was a misunderstanding with the service writer. Go back and explain the situation, get the service manager...
My daily commute is 3 miles each way. It seemed that if I didn't take a trip each weekend my dpf would hit 70% and require an active regen. But I could let it idle for a couple minutes and then it start on my way to work. When I got there I would kick it into neutral and set the parking brake...
CaptiMal the options are in your screen. Your truck has the capability to remember up to four different trailers and four different brake types light/ heavy electric and light/ heavy electric over hydraulic. I usually use the light electric setting with my gain around 8%
They keep remaking the stt series over and over again. The Cooper dealer in my area dont push them but the s/t maxx seems to be a great tire and the atw looks good. But ive never seem any around.
