Mine will occasionally throw a P04db for crank case tube disconnected if I’m pulling a trailer and the rpms bog for more than 2 seconds due to my bigger tires. It’ll reset on its own.
Without a code reader to read the code it could be anything. Stop by an auto parts store and have them read it to get you started with a code then you can start troubleshooting!
I couldn’t agree more.
I suppose I should have added the back story. My local stealership calls me monthly after multiple requests from me to NOT call until they have a fix for all the recalls. Yet the persistent calls and aggravating spam mail regarding the tailgate recall continue...

Starter relay? Starter? Might just be a freak coincidence you were changing the oil. I remember reading somewhere there’s a big molex plug for the wiring harnesss on the transmission cross member that can cause a no start because salt and sand get in it and cause corrosion.
My ole lady’s son pointed out it smells kinda like pudding after I had the trucj for a year on a cold winter morning 😂 it doesn’t smell like I should huff it but it deff doesn’t smell like the 6.0 we have at work. Haven’t huffed the Izuzu exhaust yet I’ll do it tomorrow tho!
I’ve noticed a sweet smell when mine is cold but no noticeable coolant loss over 2k miles... even with the egr tube missing but egr in place it occurs. Noticed my egr was replaced by previous owner, so I’m not sure if coolant in the exhaust is remaining or what.
Well with the egr being recalled on the rams, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Jeep going the same way! Sad this “environmentally friendly” crap is causing all these issues. Hopefully the stat gets ya fixed!!
Welcome!
If you leave the egr in plant even after the recall it will still be a recipe for disaster and in town use will not be it’s friend. I personally love mine with mixed highway and city. I’ve been egr free for 2500 miles and was the best decision I think I made for the longevity and...
No you should be fine. If you have the manual shift buttons you can watch the gears by pressing the plus button I believe, then when your slowing doen and stopping you’ll feel the bump when it switches from 2-1
