Yes. I questioned the same thing and told by many eco drivers that this is the new style. I will be installing mine in about three weeks so I guess I'll know for sure then, but VanDiesel in Ohio who knows everything about these engines says it is the new, correct one.

Called the dealer and they said they have nothing on it. Said they would see if they can find out anything and get back to me.

I got my recall for the EGR today. Have not contacted the dealer yet to see, but the notice says they have the new one.

Really! Wow. Mine must not be working or something since it still shows below 30 deg. or so and always takes the 4 sec heat up glow plug times. I wonder if it is a bad plug or if it might not be seated into the engine as tight as it should be. Thanks for the response.

Speaking of heater cords, how does one know if it is working? What temp change should one see after starting the engine after being plugged in all night at below freezing temps? Should its be 10 or 20 or 30 degrees warmer or anything? I don't really see any temp difference so I'm not sure if...

You have a ways to go. I submitted ALL my paperwork, multiple times, starting in May and after 26 weeks, still waiting and no one can give any answers.

Only 6 month! I'm now over 7 months and even after contacting the lawyers office nothing seems to change. They still say the don't have my paperwork even though it has been sent every way possible and in every format and size possible. I thought I would see it by Christmas, but now I guess...

Drive them both; if they have a GDE tune, they can set the cruise control at 15 mph. If not, no GDE tune.

Personally, I love the RAM tailgate and would gladly trade my Larmie white plain one for a white RAM one if anyone is interested. I'm in South Carolina, but would travel the country to exchange.
