Water pump was leaking... turned out that was only a part of the problem, ended up having to pull the whole upper intake plenum off, cleaning the egr and map sensor and the turbo coolant inlet line under the intake. And the intake alone took almost two hours to clean by itself and almost another...
After constantly clearing the code waiting for a back ordered thermostat I finally got one and pulled the factory tstat out to find why it was throwing the code... havnt had a problem since with the code
