Dodge dealership charging way to much (rant)

I would make an appointment with the Service Manager. He's the one to hear your "rant". But don't rant, be professional.

    Hey y’all

Yep, the Falken Wildpeak A/T3W tires are probably the best weather and off-road tire I've ever owned. That said, I just took them off of my 2016 1500 Eco and my 2020 3500 Cummins HO and went back to an all-season type hiway tire. While I loved the Falken's performance and their look I really...

Poor mpg 2016 eco diesel 3.0L

I've never heard of a dealer changing the stock tune, that's a big EPA violation. A second improved AEM recall software update/flash improved the delay for most owners, but not for all.

Poor mpg 2016 eco diesel 3.0L

The delay you have is common for a stock Eco. Some have it worse than others. Some improved with the AEM emissions recall updates, and some didn't. The best fix is to get a tune. If you don't live in Califunny get a GDE tune, If you are in Califunny get an MRT tune. I have an MRT tuned 2016...

    GDE emission compliant tune

Here's my experience 2016 Ram Ecodiesel Regen Intervals: Stock Intervals = 60-90 miles local driving. 100-150 miles hiway Pre-Ban GDE Intervals = 100-120 miles local driving. 600-800 miles hiway SFT Tuned Intervals = 190 miles. Local driving MRT Tuned Intervals =...

Read a post yesterday where pumps from Amazon were causing the same problem. The answers were always a hit or miss with a none Mopar pump.

    FCA Engine Replacement

When you say FCA I assume you mean Mopar. FCA has nothing to do with extended warranties, Mopar does. If you. have a Mopar contract that statement is absurd or you have a strange contract. I'm back to read your contract.

    FCA Engine Replacement

Good idea to read your warranty. If it's a Mopar warranty I'd bet the engine is covered. And, the. "FCA is denying the claim because it is the engine and they basically only cover DEF related items." is absurd.

    FCA Engine Replacement

I can understand your frustration. On the other hand, I'm surprised they'll even accept a claim for your personal expenses.

    FCA Engine Replacement

Welcome to the forum. I have not had the experience but there are plenty of cases where the engine was replaced without problems when under any engine-related warranty.

    Car Wash

That's the main reason I have the caps. Yes, available to fit the new cap style like what's on my 2020 Cummins.

    Car Wash

I don't think you got any water in the fuel tank as the second filler flap makes a good seal. Any water into the fill tube would exit via the weep hole above the second flap. I use Geno's locking fuel and DEF caps. If they are too much work for you before you fill up you are in too big a...

    Message...."Service Electronic Throttle Control"....No codes & SFT

Are you sure it's the EGT1? EGT1 Sensor is in the exhaust manifold connector, connecting the turbo. EGT2 is just after the turbo and called the DOC Inlet sensor, commonly referred to as the turbo outlet or after turbo sensor.
