Who is towing what with their Ecodiesel?

I haven't scaled it yet, I really don't know. 22.5' bayliner they tend to be pretty heavy, i'll guess 5500 or so on the trailer?

Bio diesel vs non bio/mpg and oil change frequency?

Absolutely, the only times I saw the MPG that you do is when all of my driving was under 65MPH along with factory installed highway tires, realistic speeds and driving habits, winter warm up times, general excessive idling, aggressive tires in my particular case, evic shows lifetime MPG's of...

Bio diesel vs non bio/mpg and oil change frequency?

I don't feel so bad, even with my tires those are the numbers I see on the low end. I think I had one 15MPG tank over the winter but even light towing Merritt's 16-17.

How many miles on your ecodiesel and have you had any problems?

Ok so that's 11 of how many sold in the last 3 years? Same applies to higher mileage cam/hpfp gear failures...

    Finally Some New Shoes.

Going to a 275/65/20 is a really good decision in my opinion if you can handle the stiffer sidewall. Tire options are nearly endless as it's been Ford super duty factory 20" size forever. And even a highway tread gets like 16/32nds opposed to 275/60/20 only getting 11-12 on the high end

    Finally Some New Shoes.

There's just so much rubber it's crazy. Brand new sr-a is 11/32nds, these have 19. I replaced sr-a at 34k and they looked worn out for a truck Tire, and I only saw 22-24 consistent MPG. Now I'm pretty average at 17 but depends on driving habits at any given time. My father in law and...

How many miles on your ecodiesel and have you had any problems?

Just turned 46k over the weekend. Did an 1800 mile round trip from roseau, mn through Duluth to Springfield, IL towing an empty car trailer. Got burned on the car and drove empty both ways. 15-18MPG going 65-75

    Just signed up

I'm with you on the offset being too much, it's a nice truck but definitely not my preference. What MPG figures do you see with the wide tires and lift?

    New to the site

Oil changes via the book are at 10k intervals, but it states the truck is ok to run up to b20 I believe? And at which it recommends a shorter oil interval I believe 7k? Check your owners manual for verification on that.

    Finally Some New Shoes.

Have about 8k on them now, no visible wear, still howl down the road but not too obnoxiously. Seem to be holding up really well. Worst winter MPG I've seen is 15 or so, I average out between 17 and 19 depending on speed. Not terrible from my old 22 average. And i'll probably sit closer to 19-22...

    EcoDiesel Oil Change Intervals

It sounds like the dealership is sticking it to you, they have no business charging you for oil changes at 150 miles when the computer is faulting out. I acknowledge there may be an issue with your truck but the service department is doing nothing to correct that

I'm another new one coming in

I'd think more like a faulty thermostat if you're overheating the engine and running the heater full blast in the cab is blowing cold, it could be stuck on the closed engine loop. Heck if the coolant system has been opened and not properly bled it could even be air locked. That would cause...

Stock or spyder ccfl halo projection lights which one looks better ?

I'd Retrofit with a oem projector from your quad beam reflector setup then put in an hid system, it's a great look and very good light output. As boostn stated, you also will not blind everyone oncoming.

Rim and tire size with suspension

I know many guys aren't fond of the factory rims but I've got 275/65/20 without a lift or even level and everything fits perfect. Tire dimensions are 34.5"x11, it's just a skinny 35. Even aired down in entry/exit no rub. I'm a firm believer in maintaining offset and I think that is your...

    New old guy

Welcome Scott, it's a very enjoyable truck and powertrain that is for sure! I sounds like you are driving as much as I was when I got mine. I put 10k the first 3 months and 29k for the first year. About to turn 2 years and 43k near flawlessly!
