How many miles on your ecodiesel and have you had any problems?

You're going to want to change your driving habits to lessen your idling and get up to highway speeds for at least 10-15 minutes maybe once a week is ok. And you won't see it. It's not hurting anything but it's letting you know there's a lot of city driving that's not letting it complete...

    Exhaust system

Who did you use to tune the ECU for the delete? How is it in comparison to the truck it was when new? I've been considering it for the future based on longevity. That and the oil cooler upgrade. Figure those two things would eliminate the Chance of a lot of if's happening that could junk an engine

    Exhaust system

Really you don't need to be at freeway speed, but pay attention to any dummy lights from the dash. Your truck just needs to run at a constant ~1800+rpm range for 15 minutes to do a full regeneration. I do mine in town in 1st or 2nd gear. And it regen's fine at 55-65mph also. 80 gets you there...

average MPG towing with the ecodiesel

Well those two trips alone saved you near a truck payment worth of fuel expenses. It's amazing the differences you can see. Toyota's are nice but they're also known for being particularly thirsty

    oil change

I'd be at that dealership right now with my truck in the service lane screaming at every management figure available. Think they even put 10 quarts in if they filled with 5w40? Or did they just set it to pump 7 for the hemi? I'd be at that dealership if I were you. Not driving it and playing an...

Oil change not taking 10.5 quarts

That's true, I just got my latest oil, champion Blue flame synthetic diesel oil, it comes in a 2.5gal jug and it was enough to put me in the middle to top of the dip stick. so that half quart is questionable depending on how drained it is. My engine and Turbo hardly use any oil in a 7k drain...

Who is towing what with their Ecodiesel?

Want to borrow my brakes? These ebc's have way way improved braking under load. Even being the 7000 series low dust which is slightly less grabby. Anybody towing should definitely consider them over oe
