    You cannot clean fuel injectors...You can only dismantle and R/R, and re-calibrate by BOSCH 825. My guess on the Exhaust Filter 100% full. Service required needs WITECH to run system de-soot and check, I've done it several times to fix the issue.

    FCA says sound and I see No other reason for it. extreme Heat is an enemy Of HPCR systems.

    If you have a good relationship with the service manager , They have the power or word to push it through on warranty.

    Its on Both sides, and the cover of the CP4. I also remove the plastic engine cover. Even look how diligent Bobcat67 was and it still burned. I want to see My engine for leaks of fuel ,coolant, oil Rodent activity all that foam does is cover possible problems until its to late.

    No, on the temps, I think it has little to NO effect on temps, its clearly someone wild idea at FCA that the additional + dB would scare off buyers, IMO my hearing cannot tell the difference. I was not aware of the cause. Just pointing out fires do happen .. did you Google the plastic fires?

    I removed it within single Days of ownership (Mar 2015).. The resent increase in fire proves again I was right, 1500diesel.com go pound sand. I removed everything including the heat soaking CP4 Cover I mentioned Back in Mid 2015 three years form then they would be increase in fires.

    The Cause, the same cause for the last 5 Years (QC) at Cento, Cento is a rats nests compared to Modern Day standards. The Only survival for the ED is another Power plant, FPT or Bust. I'm Just waiting out the DOJ case before MY ED will be owned by FCA.

    About 2 hrs to remove both sides and the pump cover. I'm going to cut that down to 15 Minutes on My next sound foam removal, its going to be knife/razor removal.
