    Leveling 2015 Ram 1500

Sharp truck. I'm probably going with those tires when these stock GY's wear out. I've had those same Nittos twice before and really liked their manners.

Using the Edge Insight CTS 2

Because the truck is doing its job all behind the curtains. If you get an Edge, or any kind of monitoring device or app, you'll see exactly what's going on with regenerations. The dash won't display anything until I think the DPF is 80% full. At that point, it will require you to take a drive...

Leaking oil filter housing after oil change

$180 is cheaper then what my dealer wanted, although still a good bit higher then DIY. Oil change is simple. Does take a lil while for 10.5qts to drain tho. But 3 hrs is just false.

    Blown Eco Diesel engine

Everything I've read is just replace replace replace. But now maybe FCA is actually trying to figure out the causes, whether a failure do to design or manufacture, and remedy them instead of a quick (relative term lol) and quiet engine replacement?

How many miles on your ecodiesel and have you had any problems?

Get rid of it. I'm sure there are legal actions you can take. If mine becomes anything close to that, she's gone. Lots of people are quick to claim 'best truck ever' with these Rams. I like my truck a lot, and it's treating me good so far. But the test is time. If I get to 100k without a...

    Transmission issue

GMs are notorious for driveline/transmission clunks. Every one I've had did it. Everything always checked out with them tho so I just accepted it. I think it was just the combo of aluminum tailshaft and steel yoke....

    Edge Insight CTS

Yes its stock tune. Thank you for the explanation. It's just odd that it's only happened once. If it occurs again, is it something to be concerned about?

    Edge Insight CTS

Strange thing happened today with my CS2. I completed a regen on my way to work this am (9%soot). Let it cool down while I put my lunchbox in work truck and parked like normal. When I was done for the day, hopped back in my truck, fired it up, and went to run an errand down the street. Drove...

Jdn that's what I was getting at. I tend believe most, if not all, members of these forums are well versed in oil specs.

    Ram EcoDiesel Oil Change Information

It's the Chrystler MS spec # you're looking for. There are a few different brands out there now. Pennzoil, Mobil1, Kendall, Amsoil off the top of my head.

    hypermiling ecodiesel

Like it. Have to say here lately I'm in an mpg mode as well. Paying a lot more attention to acceleration, speed, gear, & idle time more than I normally would. Pulled 30.5mpg (EVIC) on a short 60 mile cruise this afternoon. That was ideal situation, other then the 32F outside temp. Overall on...
