10000 miles is perfectly fine. Lots and lots of posted oil analysis done to support such intervals as FCA has recommended. However, some people feel the need to change sooner. Or at least change the oil filter. Up to your discretion. I did neither before 9800miles and all is well so far. But I'm...
I can see how this law would apply to big rigs running without a trailer, but on a pickup, c'mon no way. What about a 2wd truck that sits low to the ground?
You could also interpret that as the 'entire' tire, as if they are wider then the fenders it's illegal without mudflaps.
Lol hmmmmm...
Man that sucks. Being as my truck is a January built '15 with 13,500miles on the clock, I start to question not IF, but WHEN this problem will bear it's ugly head. [emoji17] But until then, Ima drive the snot out of it....
It may be the easiest. But, if they're like me, there will be a bag full of extra hardware that somehow wasn't needed upon reassembly. I'm not taking that chance.
I'll post again. January of '15 built truck, 13000+/- miles and no problems at all.
Did hear a loud rattle/ticking from the engine bay on way home lastnight, consistent with engine speed. Honestly, I was expecting it to blow. Pulled in the garage, popped hood, and saw my block heater cord...
Yes, from everything I've seen, the sport hood will fit. Sheet metal is the same all across the board of this generation of halfton Rams, both diesel & gas.
My question to you is, with the sport hood being a +/- $2000 option, where you gonna find a budget hood?
I'd expect, just guessing, 16-18mpgs towing said TT. Although, that number is purely speculative, based on reading others posts, and subject to a plethora of driving conditions.
Oil pressure seems within specs.
