Thanks! Only thing I have to tweak is covering the rear stake holes in the bed to make it virtually weathertight. I added a tailgate seal and it worked out nicely to seal some gaps.
I'm thinking flush mount pop-up tie downs?
Installed my cover lastnight, along with window vents. Overall very pleased with the quality & fitment of both products. Next up is grille inserts, GrillCraft MX Series. Should be at my door today. I'll post that soon as I get it done.
Lol, had an interaction with my bro in law who has a '14 Ford F-350 diesel. Him: Bought a diesel eh?
Me: Yea, has a 3.0L that pushes 420lbft.
Him: That's it? So you wanna hook them up?
Me: Not a chance, but we can hop on 270 and run laps around Columbus.
Him: No comment.
Actually the 4.5 was an all GM in house design & production. It was even finished and tested I believe. But at exactly the wrong moment as it was '09 and the financial crisis hit GM as you mentioned. The 6.6, while a joint design with Isuzu, is built in the states if I'm not mistaken. I'm not...
Absolutely. If I was gonna go with a new half-ton gasser, I would've went with a Chevy. It's what I've known & trusted. In my opinion most all manufacturers are pretty close in just about every aspect. So why not stay same brand? But this Ram breaks the mold. Gives me what GM is too scared to...
Found this thread just browsing through, and ironically it fit the bill as I just sold my beloved 04 Yukon this evening.
Part of affording the new Ram was saying goodbye to Big Blue.
When I learned the news of my son on his way, my wife, daughter, & I decided the 03 Chevy extended cab I had...
Just ordered a TruXedo Low Pro QT tonneau cover & tailgate seal, AVS Low Profile window vent shades (smoke - I decided against in-channel), and a GrillCraft MX series grille set (black). Very anxious to get these things on my truck.
Would love some auto-leveling air bags in rear but that'll be...
Sun setting directly in front of me hence the crappy iPhone pic once again. But you get the drift.
I can take pics of the install directions if interested.
And if you notice the wall in the background you'll see why I was sold on a backup camera. Mrs 'forgot' the hitch ball was on the Yukon lol.
