So is removal of the foam desired or should it be left in place if the egr was left off due to prior mechanical work? I’ve heard mixed reviews of the foam wether it should be left on or off.

Yes I told them 35” tire but I think that’s just so the trans tune is most efficient. The ecm is responsible for speed if I recal right

I have the sofa king stage 1 tune and I’m not calibrated. If I recalibrate I’m around 22-24

Mine will occasionally throw a P04db for crank case tube disconnected if I’m pulling a trailer and the rpms bog for more than 2 seconds due to my bigger tires. It’ll reset on its own.

Side note, I have the banks tube and filter and noticed a hint more grunt but not enough to justify the money again.

Without a code reader to read the code it could be anything. Stop by an auto parts store and have them read it to get you started with a code then you can start troubleshooting!

IIRC they come on and off until it’s warmed up that’s why it’ll throw codes and errors on the evic until it’s warmed up

Starter relay? Starter? Might just be a freak coincidence you were changing the oil. I remember reading somewhere there’s a big molex plug for the wiring harnesss on the transmission cross member that can cause a no start because salt and sand get in it and cause corrosion.

Most likely limp mode if I’m not mistaken. Just get a tune and enjoy the peace of mind

I’ve noticed a sweet smell when mine is cold but no noticeable coolant loss over 2k miles... even with the egr tube missing but egr in place it occurs. Noticed my egr was replaced by previous owner, so I’m not sure if coolant in the exhaust is remaining or what.

Anyone have a part number or place to order the rubber grommet that holds the plastic motor cover down? I can’t seem to find the darn thing anywhere

Well with the egr being recalled on the rams, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Jeep going the same way! Sad this “environmentally friendly” crap is causing all these issues. Hopefully the stat gets ya fixed!!
