Like Ramman said, it's a sealed lifetime tranny. I'm told that Ram considers lifetime to be 100,000 miles. Unless you are having problems, there's no reason to service it before 100,000 miles.
I'm using an Edge CTS3. What I am seeing is an Active regen. It begins when the DPF back-pressure reaches a certain point and is interpreted as % soot. The Ecodiesel point is 65% soot. (100% on a CTS3). Most Ecos will not have passive regens because they are not worked hard enough to...
I haven't used it yet because I want to use up my current mix first. I'm almost there.
By the way, my SFT tuned Eco is averaging 275 miles per active regen. And that's 80% 8-20 mile trips and 20% 75 mile trips. I have no way to track passive regens (EGT4) which I doubt occur as the temps...
Interesting and a bit confusing
I've never heard of a tune effecting or clogging the SCR.
I've never heard of an SCR recall
However, I'm far from being all knowledgeable.
Here's the best site for recall info on your truck

Glad I could help.
When Jimmy first came out with the Rally he said it was great for towing. Since then, I've read where some are saying don't tow with it and that they were told that by SFT. If it is not for towing, it makes tow haul worthless for towing. And everyone says, tow in tow haul...
Here's the size of my usr files
Stock OEM ECM tune file is 130,357
SFT all in one (ECM & TCM) incl Rally tunes file is 1,605,047
Once you upload the OEM tunes and send them to SFT you do nothing until you receive the SFT usr file. Then you upload the SFT usr file onto the handheld. Then you...
Gotcha.
I've read that. "Once it was shut off, it would not restart." before. And I've read that it is not true, it will restart. Maybe someone who knows what is correct will chime in.
I have no comments. Pleas report the conclusions
It's my understanding that every truck that had the AEM is eligible for the W58. By your answer I assume you did not own the truck when the AEM was completed. If the AEM was completed after the W58 was announced, maybe they did the W58 at the same time as the AEM. But, if they did, you should...
The EVIC data is probably close, but only hand calculated is accurate. I've never seen those numbers with my 2016. I average 17-18mpg local and 22mpg highway @ 70mph, 20mpg @ 75mph. In 22,493 miles my average is 19.2 mpg.
What reduces my mpg? Leveled, no air dam, 10 ply Falken Wildpeak...
FYI, I bought my 2016 in May 2016, but it was built in Oct, 2015. The day I bought it the dealer replaced the sunroof under a recall. Seems they had a leaking problem. The tech said he could see no difference between the old and the new other than a new gasket.
No reason to try and get more air, as the turbo can't use it. The stock filter system even provides more air than the stock turbo needs. Several have changed the stock type filter for a lifetime filter, not for more air, for filter longevity.
Some install the compressor in the cab rear floor box. If you don't use that box it's a neat location, protected and out of the way. That said, where I put mine I have never had a problem, and it's easy to work on if necessary. However, I don't use the bed to haul loose items etc. that could...
