IMO, NO, it may extend a hero's life , but not a zero. 10K Miles is My change Level after OA support, otherwise its 6-8K miles.

If soot was aiding the failures it would show up in OAs, I've done 2 filter analysis both low levels of soot. Fuel in Oil would shorten the life of the rotating mass, not puke it to death, Fuel in Oil destroys the rings first the bearings would be way down on My list for fuel in oil wear...

The VM 3.0 is Hero/Zero Status. The sound foam has one purpose to deaden sound. Its damaging to all the components it smoother them to death, cover up fuel leaks until its to late and in the unlikely case it does catch fire it will add to the flames and any effort to extinguish.

The intake Plenum is NOT covered, However it is covered under 100K miles / 5 years, IMO make sure you get'er covered and replaced before 100k miles and 5 years is up.... It will be sooted up bad and will eventually cost in long term ownership.

Don't let it reach 100%, Due to its age you should take it to someone with WITech to place the vehicle into Stationary Regen to burn the ash out. It will take at least 3 cycles to clean it out with WITech.
