looks way better!!! What badges did you put in place of the original ecodiesel ones?

    Trigger Pulled

I think you asked about tuning in an earlier post, I would say drive it first and see how you like, tuning and any fueling upgrade is kind of a gray area, being as most dealers aren't honoring warranties on tuned vehicles.

Add me to the blown motor list

Sucks that the motor blew up, glad to hear they're making it right and offering more than a kick in the pants after the long block is installed

    Oil Spec Recall/TSB - Grounds for Class-Action?

The dealer here isn't changing the 2014-2015 pickups, still using the 5w-30, it's odd to say the least

    Oil Spec Recall/TSB - Grounds for Class-Action?

I highly doubt it will cause anymore clogging of the DPF or regens, mine builds up soot pretty fast around town, but it's about the same as 5-30 was on the interstate between regens, only have 11,000 miles on the odometer, had an edge insight cts on it for about 8,000 miles now so I've been able...

    Oil Spec Recall/TSB - Grounds for Class-Action?

Well there ya go, hopefully they don't have the 6.0 powerstroke and 6.4 powerstroke issues with aftermarket filters, those engines right there are the reason I will stick to factory filters for everything regardless of price differential.

    Oil Spec Recall/TSB - Grounds for Class-Action?

You can use the 5w-30 oil if you feel inclined to use it up. Yeah it sucks that the filter is that expensive, but there is no aftermarket equivalent that's out yet. I know there's some companies working on one, haven't heard if they've been released yet. Welcome to the diesel world, everything...

    Factory 20" chrome wheels

Usually a guy can hope for $400 a wheel and tire for used factory stuff, have some some stock superduty 20" wheels bring close to $800, but that's ludicrous

Turbo boost and Temp on EVIC

I have an edge insight cts2 on mine, highest boost number I've seen is 22psi

PSA: FCA Changes Oil Specification Requirement for Ram 1500 EcoDiesels

I had the update done and I looked under the hood and there isn't a sticker on the fill cap, personally I don't care. It's not important to me I know what oil goes in it. This whole deal isn't much different than the tie rod end recall, I had a 2012 3500 mega cab, they sent out the paperwork and...

PSA: FCA Changes Oil Specification Requirement for Ram 1500 EcoDiesels

I wouldn't be worried, I would switch to 5w-40 and be done with it.

PSA: FCA Changes Oil Specification Requirement for Ram 1500 EcoDiesels

http://www.oildepot.ca/5w-40-motor-oil-now-suggested-all-ecodiesel-engines/ This info was found by another member on this forum, but posted in a different thread, but if this is the correct reason why they switched, it makes sense why they're draining and replacing brand new engine oil in...

PSA: FCA Changes Oil Specification Requirement for Ram 1500 EcoDiesels

If what is stated in this link is the true reason and it is the only logical reason to date that I've seen for engines of unsold vehicles to be drained and updated to the 5w-40 oil

PSA: FCA Changes Oil Specification Requirement for Ram 1500 EcoDiesels

You don't need the software updates for the oil update, I would switch to the 5w-40 premium synthetic, chances are it's cheaper and possibly a higher quality lubricant, I don't know the specs on AMSOIL, but I know if you're interested they usually have their VOA or some sort of data on their oils

    Your first mod

I put the husky ones in mine after having weather techs in my last 6 pickups, I like the way the husky ones fit, weather tech ones look a little better in my opinion, but husky gets my vote from now on. Did those with a lo-pro qt tonneau cover, edge insight cts2 for tire size adjustment, put...

    Ram EcoDiesel Oil Change Information

I don't have any personal experience with archoil, but you could take your truck back and have them perform the update. I know some areas of the country were having a hard time getting ahold of the replacement oil because of the large demand which may be the reason for it not being done
