No worries! I actually ordered the Ready Lift UC Control Arms from Custom Offsets a couple years back. They are about $350-500, if I remember correctly. Little pricey but worth the money IMHO
I only ask because I had a similar issue with my 2015 RAM. I installed 2.5” Bilstein 5100’s and wound up having to buy aftermarket control arms because of that “thumping” sound. The shop I was going to at the time said the ball joints were taking a beating.
I’d recommend deleting the truck, if you’re hearts set on the Eco. If this isn’t an option for you, maybe look at a few other diesel options.
As far as known issues...EGR cooler, Crankshaft Position Sensor, Air Suspension (if applicable), and fuel pump, to name a few. The more knowledgeable...
Haha, my UPS driver asked if that would be a regular purchase! You’ve got a point, as the Walmart by me was selling T6 for $15.00 a gallon about a month ago. I snatched up 6 gallons.
It ran me about $1300.00, with tune and delete kit. I’m somewhat mechanically inclined and got the job done. I’d carve out a good 3-4 days of off time, just in case you run into emergencies. Let me know if you have specific questions.
