Your question is a bit confusing friendo. There is a delete option in which you can remove everything from the Diesel Particulate Filter to the Muffler. Flo Pro offers a kit for RAM at around $150-250, depending on where you shop. You’ll need tuning, of course. Hope this helped.
I’d follow John’s advice brother. I only deleted out of necessity. As he mentioned, your 2015 is included in recall/ extended warranty.
The delete is a pain in the arse and it’ll run you at least $1300-ish with tune.
I’d steer clear of that aftermarket cooler. Nothing against BulletProofDiesel...I just don’t see it being anymore efficient. The delete is a bit of a pain, but worth the effort. Not to mention, you can always throw the emissions s*it back on, prior to sale or trade in. Reach out with any delete...
If you’ve hit the point of no return, delete it. Check out HD Diesel Supply for your “Stage 2” kit and tune. I’m running a SofaKingTuned ECU/ Transmission combo, with HD Diesel’s Stage 2 kit, and I love my truck. I spent about $120 in coolant while FCA twiddled their thumbs. Since delete, I...
The manifold isn’t necessarily the issue. The EGR Cooler is the part that fails, ultimately. An EGR delete kit will set you straight. The Banks manifold couldn’t hurt in the long run, TBH. Those swirl valves are likely caked...
I know this isn’t helpful but, I received no immediate help from FCA and wound up deleting the truck...you can either do the same or wait it out...If you decide to give FCA a chance to remedy the issue, I’d buy a few jugs of coolant from Amazon ($23-$25 for the Mopar stuff) and keep an eye on...
Absolutely it is. I’d recommend leaving the rear EGR riser tube in place. I paid quite a bit to have broken bolts extracted when I could’ve just blocked the damn thing off. Reach out with any questions man.
Man, I’m pretty sure you’d have to resort to a stand-alone gauge for boost pressure. Most folks seem to go with the Edge CTS2, though I’m sure there’s cheaper options. I’ve never actually seen a custom instrument cluster for our trucks.
...”wash the soot away“...my dude...if an FCA tech told you that...they’re in the wrong business.
It sounds like what you’re dealing with is, indeed, a failed EGR cooler. Several on this forum, including myself, have experienced this. There is an active recall for the issue on RAM trucks. I’m...
