I have a big truck stop by me that has def at the pump for $2.05/ gallon. Only problem is this station is always very busy with big rigs. Every time I've driven by they have at least one truck waiting to pull in to one of the bay's. I've never had the nerve to pull my pickup in with all those...
This is awesome!!!!! Are you going to have hp/tq numbers when all done?
Also what do you think the intake did for power? Would it make sense to do an intake and tuner only? Or just go Tuner? Sorry for all the questions but there is a lot of conflicting info out.
I say ram. I've owned one dodge and two Rams. So Ram wins. Lol. Technically it's all Chystler LLC or even more technically correct its Chrystler/Fiat group.
But Ram IS its own brand now. It has to tow the corporate line but has its own ceo, engineers, marketers, accountants, everything any...
I wonder why it's not used in Canada? It must be a licensing issue.?.?
I hope it gets straightened out soon for you guys. But in all honesty your not missing out on to much.
Ok. I found it in the manual. It's the DEF pump clearing itself. The manual says a clicking noise from under the truck is normal and is audible from outside the truck. Whew. That one had me worried.

When I pulled in the drive I did my normal 2 minute cool down ( excessive I know). Turned the ignition off got out and heard a fast ticking sound from under the...
I couldn't agree more. But I don't think fear is keeping others from putting a diesel in a light duty truck. I just think ram was in a unique situation. GM and Motori had already done most of the R&D on this 3.0 motor. This freed up a lot of money for Ram to engineer an acceptable emissions...
So I've been getting a lot of grief at work since I bought my truck for "having to much money".
While I know for certain that is a false statement it had me thinking of the reasons I like to buy new.
1. I'm a "car guy". I'm up on most of what's available. I read a lot about vehicles in...
Sounds like Chevy has been pretty good to you! I know there 350 and 327 motors are almost bullet proof.
So was MPG what kept you from buying a new Silverado? I know it's what kept me from buying a new Tundra.
