I don't think the air ride adds or takes away anything from the rating. A lot of heavy duty trucks have air bags in the rear for leveling the truck with heavy loads/trailers.

I've been looking at the bilstien 5100. You can buy just front ones for leveling or they make a set for the rear to give you another inch in back as well. I'm not 100% sure if they would work for air ride?

Not 100% sure but I think with a front leveling kit you could clear some 33s.

That's good to hear. 40,000 feet in the air is the last place you would want a plugged fuel filter. Lol.
