Turbo water coolant feed tube failure

Yeah, a rubber hose in the valley of a hot running engine isn't going to last long. It needs to be replaced with either a silicone hose designed for high temps or go with the braided steel hose. https://www.dormanproducts.com/p--667-562.aspx

    P204-f

Good news. I'm happy to report that my truck is back and in good operating condition. The DEF pump and DEF injector were replaced under the AEM warranty.

    P204-f

I'm hoping my issue is the DEF pump. I'll take it to the dealer tomorrow.

@mputala88, did you get your truck fixed? I also have the P204F code and curious what it might be.

AlfaOBD And What You Can Do!

If you bought the tune last summer from GDE, then you have the EPA Compliant Tune, which is a good tune.

Mine is a 2015, so it looks like my entire tank will need to be replaced if the issue is indeed a DEF pump.

What year is your truck @TimG1?

My dealer told me today they ordered all four sensors but some of the sensors are backordered until May 26th. They are not changing the DEF pump until they change the sensors. If the sensors don't fix the problem, then they will change out the pump.

My truck is still at the dealer. They started out by replacing the upstream oxygen sensor. If that didn't fix the issue, then they were going to continue replacing parts until the issue was fixed. To be honest, I haven't heard from the dealer since they replaced the oxygen sensor. I will...

Engine Failure - 2016 Ecodiesel - 74,000 miles - out of warranty by 6 months!

You're a little off with your numbers: The extended warranty period is the greater of (i) 10 years from the date of initial sale or 120,000 actual miles on the vehicle odometer, whichever comes first; and (ii) 4 years or 48,000 miles from the date and mileage of installing the Approved...

Deleting the truck is illegal. For that reason, I would not recommend that you delete. I got the same code today. If indeed the pump is the issue, then I'm covered under the AEM warranty. If I wasn't covered under the warranty, then I would pay to have the pump replaced.

I've also heard of FCA warranting an engine slightly beyond the 5 year/100,000-mile warranty. It's not all bad from FCA.

GDE Won My Business The Old Fashioned Way, They Earned It.

I've been on the forums since the EcoDiesel was new. Many people, including myself, have been very happy with the GDE tune(s). Switch back to the stock tune and see if your problem goes away. If it doesn't go away, then you know it's not the tune. A good diesel tech will tell you what's...

The GDE tune has been flawless for hundreds of people. If you have an issue, it's not the tune.
