    New Fuel filter design?

I ordered a new fuel filter from Amazon and it came with the packaging completely destroyed, hard to tell if the filter was crushed so I sent it back. I also noticed that it looked very different so I just decided not to trust it. I went to the dealer today to buy one and they had the same style...

    EGR Cooler

Swung by my dealer today to buy a new fuel filter. Decided to ask the service advisor there about the EGR cooler replacement. She told me they are getting an allotment of 2 a week and put me on the waitlist. It was indicated end of July at best. Not too worried at this point as I am GDE hot tuned.

Car Play with Uconnect on 2018 Laramie EcoDiesel

I know it sounds silly but turning the phone off and starting from scratch sometimes works with connectivity issues. My iPhone 6 used to glitch upon occasion and that worked.

How many of these engines have zero issues?

I will be straight up.. you probably won't average 23+ unless you exclusively drive on the highway. I usually sit between 21 and 24 depending on where I go. If I take a long trip w/cruise control at 70 mph I can get around 29ish. 11 to17 towing my camper depending on conditions

How many of these engines have zero issues?

Use your Dodge Caliber for the short trips to the BF's. That is the kind of mileage your eco will hate.

How many of these engines have zero issues?

“No clues where it is coming from, would say they need to tear off the headliner and we know they aren't going to do that.” you might give them a chance before you jump to conclusions.

How many of these engines have zero issues?

I also have had trouble free operation 2015 Bighorn bought new Daily Driver Tuned in Dec of 2019 Have never seen an engine code once around 50000 miles, plenty of towing but mostly daily driving, mix of city and highway very fussy about oil and fuel filter changes (every 7500 miles for both)

    oil change

How many miles are on your truck? What kind of service duty has it seen? The normal service duty is 10,000 miles but most people seem inclined to increase that frequency somewhat. I do 7500 miles and a fuel filter each time. Consider having an Oil Analysis done by a lab each oil change. You can...

For the guys with the HD Diesel Supply Hand Held Device Tune

Sorry I was assuming it was the same process as the SFT tune which comes with a handheld device. Maybe the HD could be substantially different? I have taken my tunes out a couple times, it is pretty easy but the I don have the HD.

New to the Ram family after 13 years with Chevy. Allow me to show off my 2018 CPO EcoDiesel Laramie 4x4.

Congratulations on your truck. The RAM is super comfortable and they drive really nice! They are not however all that trouble free with the emission systems intact. What the other poster meant was you might peruse this forum on Deleting the EGR with an engine tune. It appears to vastly improve...

    CP4 cover

Honestly? I don't see anyone on this forum saying how great the ecodiesel is. In fact it seems filled mostly with negativity! (probably for a reason) Some of us have done the best we can with the engine and have learned to pay close attention. I will say thanks to TC because I never would have...

    Tuning Options?

Your next question may regard warranty. Yes, a tune will absolutely render your warrant null and void. That is why it is absolutely essential to have an tune that you are comfortable removing and reinstalling periodically and the basic mechanical knowledge to do it if you are planning use a...

To delete or not delete. That is the question

I like the fact that I can install my GDE tune for my “off road” uses 😉😉 and put it back in when I drive on public roads or am looking for dealer service😇!

    (More) Questions on Regen Mode

The truck will to notify you that a region is in progress in its stock form. There are several tools available to help you do this and even do a manual regeneration. The Edge Products Insight Cts2 appears to be very popular for this purpose. You might research the aftermarket tuning options...
