Unless you do a stage 2 tune and delete it, your ideas will throw codes and perhaps put your truck in limp mode. These trucks are very sensitive to mods, even using a catch can on a stock truck will throw codes if the catch can hoses aren't the right size.

You are the one who put me onto mixing DEF with distilled. I use your 1 gal distilled to 2.5 gal DEF for a 26% ratio, been using it ever since I discovered my 2016 Eco will alert at 22%. I run the same on my 2020 3500 HO, don't know i5t's alert percentage
There is no incorrect DEF. Def is DEF. That said, DEF comes at 32.5-33% urea and can deteriorate and throw that message when it gets to 22%. It sounds like the DEF you used was old and below 22% Or as some have posted, there are reports of people buying DEF at Walmart, using it, refilling...
MRT is the tune. The tuner has difficulty with English. So EOC is pretty much the seller and spokesman.

That sounds like an SFT. They probably don't know how to tune for it so they decide not to support it, so typical. Next, if you dispute them they'll just stop dealing with you. Been there, had it done to me.
DEF cannot affect mileage or power. The SCR is at the end of the exhaust system. All DEF does is neutralize the leftover NOx emissions. It is totally unrelated to the engine. You gain nothing by removing it
Yeah, they do it all the time - deny warranty is what they do all the time. If it's only rust I can understand their position, but not certain rust would cause the pump to fail. If there's more than rust, especially metal shavings you should still file a claim. They'll probably come back with...
Bummer. Sounds like the person you dealt with has no knowledge of the product she represents. You have a classic case of an HPFP failure for which there is the Z46 recall. And the lack of the new pump they are supposed to replace temporarily your CP4 with another CP4. All for free. And...

I don't know what the problem or solution might be but I have a suggestion. Dealers usually warranty/guarantee their sales for at least thirty days. Suggest you contact the dealer and have them fix it or take it back.

Selling because it does not include the DPF regeneration feature for 2018+ Ram 6.7 Cummins.
I will honor a 30-day guarantee that it will work properly.
My guarantee is a full refund (except...
The manufacturer has addressed this issue as they sent out a recall. The Ecodiesel CP4 HPFP failure rate is very low and has not been an issue. The Ecodiesel recall (Z46) came because the same pump was used in the HD trucks, where it was a big issue. Because the HDs CP4 pump became a safety...
