I know you can cause a regen with AlfaOBD but I didn't know we can track regens with it. Do you know what Alfa configuration gets to that ability? I track regens with my Edge monitor but would like to try Alfa as well.

When you order you make the selection to turn off the EGR or leave it on. I believe the web site calls it EGR delete.

I haven't run into any disadvantages. The risk involved is the same as any tune. Warranty risks and dealer flashing over come to mind. Not sure what you mean but I haven't head of any issues with the exhaust/cat system.

If the additive caused a problem they probably wouldn't fix it under warranty but it should not affect the warranty. That said, I have never heard of an additive causing a problem.

I believe that would definitely affect related warranty repairs. I'm sure the dealer would note his vin # record that a tuner is installed, thus perhaps voiding all warranty repairs

I don't know what a Scorcher is but can say the airbox will void warranty repair if the problem is related to the air intake system.
