I have heard nothing further on this issue...a friend of mines truck is in the shop now getting his second cooler done...completely out of oil this time motor got to about 280 degrees before he got to his shop where he could stop. The dealer is refusing to replace the engine and stating they...
Ya the truck truly doesn't have to be to full Temps every run you just need to make sure you have a little heat and good oil flow through the turbo before you go jump on the highway...my daily commute is literally a mile and a half I remote start the truck a few minutes before I'm ready to leave...
Never over 3200 rpm that's a tough one....and yep I'd say that's a failure! Well glad to have you back active on here you have definitely gone further into this engine than any of us hope to ever have to.
I have the air ride on my truck also but the WDH helps a lot with trailer sway etc. These trucks have the power to pull a lot but they still lack in overall weight of vehicle which is what can allow the trailer to take control.
Ya use the sway bar with the WDH because when I tow the 24ft toy hauler it's high profile and will move me around going down the road a lot more than I like
Motor wise no problem...it being a 28' trailer though you will definitely know it is there as it will wiggle the truck around pretty good. Just fly by the seat of your pants and don't go too fast to correct anything.
