That's the beauty of it we have a bulk system at my work to fill the tractors so I just go get a splash when need be. The biggest issues we have seen in the past 5 years since case tractors started running an SCR sensor are NOX sensor failures as well as def quality and downstream temp sensors...
I thought you already had the hot tune from gde russel? I'm stuck with emissions equipment due to being in CA but am interested in doing the gde tune if anyone ever comes out with an aftermarket oil cooler to make me less weary going forward.
I am still interested in it but debating between it and the banks bullet...I like being able to pull it out if need be come smog time etc. Seems a little harder to get caught with a tuner you can pull out without a trace....
With our Temps staying down in the 30's around here at night lately I am considering plugging it in just to keep everything warm and a little more safe upon start up etc. My question to all of you is are you seeing a bump in your electrical bill while using it? I have heard it can be spendy. Or...
So the cts2 and cs2 gauges will allow you to force a regen? That is a very cool feature it won't allow you to control anything else though correct? Just monitoring. They are on sale right now at RSD and I may pick up a cs2 so I can monitor everything
Ya I had the wet okole neoprene covers on my gmc and absolutely loved them....but it would make the ventilated seats worthless...I'm not really willing to lose out on that otherwise I would have just bought a big horn
I normally allow it to warm up a couple minutes before I take off but our Temps aren't as bad as yours although when I take off coolant Temps are still only around 70 or 80. Have you noticed how high our oil pressures are when cold? Mine will idle around 30 psi and climb to 80+ getting underway...
There is no doubt....the modern wire insulation is garbage we have replaced several harness on our tractors due the the loom wearing right through the wires. Speed sensors anymore though are typically on the transmission.
I (knock on wood) have not had a single hiccup as of yet...and I will say my driving style as well as my daily commute 1.2 miles each way is not nice.to components like that so time will tell....
I figured it may be worth mentioning. It's not very often we see moisture related electrical issues anymore with all of the weatherpac connectors etc. Not saying it's not possible but with our conditions might have been more coincidence than cause.
