I posted this earlier on this forum, here it is again, updated.
Here's my experience with SFT:
01 - I strongly supported SFT since its beginning.
02 - I have used their ECU & TCU (Rally) tunes since 06/2019.
03 - My dealer completed the FCA W58 (tonewheel) flash.
04 - 6/9/21, I paid SFT $50.00...
I am familiar with all that you say.
I looked at dishonest SFT's site and I don't see any of the changes that you posted. You can still get their tune with the EGR turned off, and if you choose to leave the EGR on, there's no way that "they're compliant" to avoid the EPA'S wrath." The only...
Interesting. What EPA crackdown are you talking about? Did dishonest SFT get a visit or did they make their EGR decision as an attempt to avoid a visit? Or ?????
My fuel caps are the same. Every person I know who made the mistake has no identifying caps. These guys are long time diesel owners, it can happen to anyone, usually for not paying attention, being on the phone, or being distracted.
The two persons I know who were refueled (the station attendant did it) with gas, when they were down to 1/3 tank or less, were dead in just a few miles.
I know several who made the mistake but only put a few gallons of gas in. They added oil to the tank and fueled it with diesel and kept...
I'm not sure. The GDE tune is EPA and CARB compliant but the words in Ram's warranty tell me it voids the warranty. To get an official answer call Mopar Warranty, don't rely on what gets posted here, unless the poster provides confirmation.
It would not automatically tell them that "the factory tune was removed and then reinstalled". If the dealer was suspicious, they would have to search for the number of times the ECU had been flashed. That would tell them someone other than the dealer has been into the ECU, but not what was...
I'm not a deleter so have limited knowledge but from what I do know it is not normal. Since you do not know about the tune I believe you will have to find a tuner who can restore the ECU to your VIN's factory tune and then retune to Stage 2.
I have no suggestions and don't know what fuel pressure regulator you bought. I have read that using a non Mopar fuel pressure regulator is a crap shoot at best.
What Tremper said, "It’s a common occurrence with this mod for some reason. Some haven’t had a code but most do. Some have found oversizing the lines have helped the code."
A larger line usually corrects the problem. However, you did not say what CC you installed. There have been several that...
Welcome to the forum.
In 2017 I put a Hell Bent 2" Front Leveling Spacer Set - # 125-200-001 on my 2016. Later I read comments that spacers are dangerous and a lift will destroy OEM control arms. So I bought a set of Billstiens and a set of Moog control arms, both are still on the shelf. I've...
